Winter to Spring
March 31st, 2011 | by admin
I know the frequency of our blogging has been pretty lacking lately, but we’d like to think that it just means we have more to share when we finally get around to it.
We’ve been having a great beginning to the year. February brought snow, which was weird, but Henry loved it and demanded that we build a snow volcano (apparently, snowmen are out). We’ve also added a playground in the backyard, much to the kids’ delight (thanks, grandparents). And once the weather started warming up, we found time to do some fishing and camping with the Martin-Rider family at the Burdett Ranch in Florence, TX.
And, of course, our Henry had a birthday. It’s hard to believe it’s already been five years.
Henry and George are having a blast, as you can see, and getting bigger all the time. Henry’s even reading now. And little George, with his newfound walking and climbing skills, is turning out to be quite reckless. He likes to go down the playground slide face first, preferably without assistance of any kind. It’s going to be a nerve-wracking couple of years.
Anyway, we hope everyone is well, and we will try to do a little better on the frequency of our updates, we promise.
